Life is not easy. Life can down right suck at times but you have to live it with the attitude and persistence that will help you achieve greatness.

Endeavor is defined as to exert oneself to do or effect something; make an effort;strive. We must constantly endeavor if we are to succeed. I remember my father telling me that no matter what life throws at you and no matter how hard your situation got, you had to push through.

Lately all I think about is this saying. When I look at all the things in my life I gave up on instead of pushing through it makes me a bit depressed. I think back to all the time I wasted and all the time I spent hating myself for giving up without a fight.

I allowed all those trials and tribulations to consume me and control me. I lacked the ability to persevere. I began thinking of all the ways I could correct these issues. I quickly became overwhelmed with the numerous changes I wanted to make.

I was mentally making lists of all the things that could use a makeover in my life. With a solid lineup returning and Chris Wilson perhaps more integrated into the band, the playing here is wonderful, with chiming strings once again the order of the day. The material, unfortunately, isn't up to the standard of the band's last set. No doubt, the first two tracks stand up with anything on Mean Time, but after that it's a little uneven.
